The Dodge County Farmers for Healthy Soil – Healthy Water group along with the Lake Sinissippi Improvement District are giving away cereal rye to farmers in the Dead Creek/Lake Sinissippi Watersheds.
Each recipient is allotted a maximum of 30 bags of cereal rye with each bag weighing 50 lbs.
If you own or operate land in the area on the map posted below and you are interested in planting cover crops on your cropland, please call one of the numbers below for more details or to apply for cereal rye.
All participants should register for the annual winter workshop to be held February 6th & 7th 2019. The afternoon session will consist of several topics pertaining to the cereal rye program including spring termination. Registration for this event will be available at a later date.
